It's always exciting to stare at wild animals which we have seen only on TV Channels. Soon,we were on our way . Initially, there were tiny villages on the highway. The clouds started to be clear, giving us a warm welcome.
Gradually, as we passed, greenery started to surround us. The chirping of birds became arrogant. Soon , there were few hairpin bends, which involuntarily shifted my body to either sides. Then, I started to admit that, even though we are on our modern times, we are slowly surrendering ourselves to science. On our way, we had to give way for returning tourists. Some were in vans, some were local foresters. Some were in family.
As we passed, we had to sign the permit. As we penetrated, there came the heavenly bliss.
Weather started to drop. Each one were on their sweaters and woollen clothes. Our eyes fatigued, as it refused to deviate from the pristine nature. We reached a small village and stopped for a while to have chai.

It was late night into the forest road, and I was aware that some creatures were nocturnal, so that would have a sight of it. I tried not to miss any minute movements of leaves and branches. On the way, a fat bear was ahead on our way, crossing the road, drudging along with us. We felt like a guest to our lonely car. We slowed the vehicle, and waited, till it went out of our sight into the deep forest.
We moved, moved and moved. In my mind, I felt tired of spotting dense branches where more wild animals may camouflage themselves.
Suddenly, I spotted a pair of bright white eyes. Was it someone's torchlight or anything? Nope, before I could interpret, the tiger revealed itself , walking through the bushes. Finally, I felt happy, that I spotted a tiger even at late night.

Then we booked a guest house nearby, and stayed the whole night. There were full of benches made of concrete branches from trees. We had a short dinner and a long nap.
Soon, the rays of the sun hit me hard, that I woke up soon in the morning. As I came out, a ray of chill air crossed by me. There were forest officers ready to join us deep into the mesmerising jungle.
After few hours, we were in the middle of the jungle, full of mysterious sounds, which felt tough to spot the source. We had to stop the car as the path was not favourable to vehicles. We were on our foot to the watch tower which envisages the whole forest. We preferred to spend the whole night there, but the officials warned us of threat from wild animals. Though we refused the advice, we had to retreat. Soon , we were on our way back.
Though ,this trip happened several years ago, it affects deep down, piercing my senses, tingling in my mind, virtual pictures refusing to leave, a soul reminding me again and again.
